OCR description
The covered entity (CE), Saint Mary’s Home of Erie, reported that it experienced a cyberattack that affected the protected health information of 5,013 individuals. The PHI involved included clinical, demographic, and financial information. The CE notified HHS and the affected individuals. In response to the breach, the CE implemented additional administrative, technical, and security safeguards to better protect its PHI.
