OCR description
The business associate (BA), Cerenade, reported that it experienced a ransomware incident that affected the protected health information (PHI) of 1,697 individuals. The PHI involved demographic information. The BA notified the affected CE, notified HHS and the affected individuals. In response to the breach, the BA implemented additional technical and administrative safeguards.
