OCR description
The covered entity (CE), Central Texas MHMR Center dba Center for Life Resource, reported that it experienced a ransomware incident that affected the protected health information (PHI) of 26,055 individuals. The PHI involved included clinical, demographic, and financial information. The CE notified HHS, affected individuals, and the media. In response to the breach the CE implemented additional administrative and technical safeguards to better protect its PHI.
