OCR description
The covered entity (CE), St. Francis Physician Services, reported that it was the victim of a cyber-attack that affected the electronic protected health information (ePHI) of 32,178 individuals. The ePHI involved included names, birthdates, addresses, health insurance information, and other treatment information. The CE notified HHS, affected individuals, and the media. The CE disabled and decommissioned all its legacy electronic medical systems and transferred all data contained on those networks to Bon Secours Mercy Health.
