OCR description
The covered entity (CE), Aeroflow, Inc., reported that it was the victim of a cyber-attack affecting the protected health information (PHI) of 4,454 individuals. The PHI involved included names, email addresses, and financial information. Aeroflow notified HHS, affected individuals, and the media. In response to the breach, the CE implemented additional administrative and technical safeguards to better protect its PHI. OCR obtained assurances that the CE implemented the corrective actions noted.
