Wilson County Memorial Hospital District dba Connally Memorial Medical Center, the covered entity (CE), reported that a laptop was stolen from the vehicle of an employee of its business associate (BA). This breach affected the electronic protected health information (ePHI) of 7,358 individuals. The ePHI involved included names, dates of birth, gender, ethnicity, and clinical information. The CE notified HHS, affected individuals, and the media.
