OCR description
Torrance Memorial Medical Center, the covered entity (CE), reported that its business associate (BA) was the victim of a cyber-attack that affected the electronic protected health information (ePHI) of 3,448 individuals. The ePHI involved included clinical information, diagnoses/conditions, and other treatment information. The BA retrained its staff and implemented additional technical safeguards.
