OCR description
Frank D. Lanterman Regional Center, the business associate (BA), reported that its BA was the victim of a ransomware attack that affected the electronic protected health information (ePHI) of 9,271 individuals. The ePHI involved included names, addresses, and treatment information. The BA notified HHS, affected individuals, the media, and provided substitute notice.
