The covered entity (CE), Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine Health System, reported that its business associate experienced a ransomware attack that affected the electronic protected health information (ePHI) of 118,874 individuals. The ePHI involved included names, addresses, dates of birth, and treatment information. The CE notified HHS, affected individuals, the media, and posted substitute notice on its website.
