OCR description
The covered entity (CE), Krapf Group, reported that it was the victim of a ransomware attack affecting the protected health information (PHI) of 610 individuals. The CE notified HHS and the affected individuals. The PHI involved included names, dates of birth, addresses, Social Security numbers, and health insurance information. In response to the breach, the CE implemented additional administrative, technical, and security safeguards to better protect its PHI.
