OCR description
OCR received a breach report from Bakersfield Hematology Oncology stating that an employee impermissibly downloaded and provided the protected health information (PHI) of 1,286 individuals to an unauthorized individual. It was determined that the individual who filed the report did not have authority to do so. The case was therefore closed.
