OCR description
The covered entity (CE), Nashua Regional Cancer Center dba Radiation Center of Greater Nashua, reported that is business associate (BA) was the victim of a cyber-attack affecting the protected health information (PHI) of 520 individuals. The PHI involved included names, addresses, dates of birth, diagnoses, and other treatment information. The CE notified HHS, affected individuals, the media, and established a call center to for questions and concerns. OCR provided the CE with technical assistance regarding timely breach notification.
