OCR description
The covered entity (CE), Gregory P. Vannucci DDS, experienced a ransomware incident that affected the protected health information (PHI) of 26,144 individuals. The PHI involved included names, dental treatment information, and Social Security numbers. During OCR’s investigation, the CE ceased operations and as a result, the investigation was closed.
