OCR description
The covered entity (CE), Victory Health Partners, reported that it was the victim of a ransomware attack affecting the protected health information (PHI) of 30,000 individuals. The PHI involved included names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, addresses and drivers’ license numbers. The CE notified HHS, affected individuals, and the media. In response to the breach, the CE implemented additional administrative and technical safeguards and developed cybersecurity training exercises for its employees.
