OCR description
Minnesota Women’s Care, the covered entity (CE), reported that an employee accidentally emailed the protected health information (PHI) of 1,900 individuals to the wrong recipients. The PHI involved included names only. The CE notified HHS, affected individuals, and the media. In response to the breach, the CE strengthened its administrative policies and procedures to better protect its PHI.
