OCR description
The covered entity (CE), UAW Retiree Medical Benefits Trust, reported that a vendor of its business associate (BA) was the victim of a ransomware attack that affected the electronic protected health information (ePHI) of 576 individuals. The ePHI involved included names, addresses, dates of birth, member identification numbers, diagnoses, medications prescribed, and other treatment information. This case was consolidated into an ongoing investigation.
