OCR description
The covered entity (CE), Deerbrook Cath Lab, reported that its business associate experienced a cybersecurity attack that compromised the protected health information (PHI) of 2,364 individuals. The PHI involved included names, dates of birth, and diagnoses. The CE notified HHS, affected individuals, the media, and provided substitute notice. OCR has initiated a compliance review of the business associate regarding this breach.
