OCR description
The covered entity (CE), Millennium Eye Care, reported that it experienced a ransomware attack that compromised the protected health information of 6,050 individuals. During the course of the investigation, the CE was sold and OCR subsequently did not have authority to continue to investigate; the cases was therefore closed.
