OCR description
The covered entity (CE), Regional Eye Associates & Surgical Eye Center of Morgantown, reported that its business associate (BA) was the victim of a cyber-attack that compromised the protected health information (PHI) of 194,035 individuals. The PHI involved included names, diagnoses, and financial and clinical information. In its mitigation efforts, the BA implemented additional administrative, technical, and security safeguards to better protect PHI.
