OCR description
The covered entity (CE), GlobalHealth Holdings, reported that its business associate (BA) experienced a cybersecurity attack that compromised the protected health information (PHI) of 622 individuals. The PHI involved included names, dates of birth, addresses, phone numbers, health insurance information, and other treatment information. The CE notified HHS, affected individuals, and the media. In its mitigation efforts, the CE and BA implemented additional administrative and technical safeguards to better protect PHI.
