OCR description
The covered entity (CE), Family Vision of Anderson, reported that it was the target of a ransomware attack that compromised the protected health information (PHI) of 62,631 individuals. The PHI involved names, dates of birth, drivers’ license and social security numbers, addresses, financial, and clinical information. The CE notified HHS, affected individuals, and the media. To mitigate risk, the CE implemented additional administrative, technical, and security safeguards.
