OCR description
SysInformation Healthcare Services, the covered entity (CE) reported that it experienced a ransomware attack that compromised the protected health information (PHI) of 537,987 individuals. The PHI involved included names, claims information, and treatment information. The CE notified HHS, affected individuals, and the media. In its mitigation efforts, the CE implemented additional administrative, technical, and security safeguards to better protect its sensitive data.
