OCR description
Mount Graham Regional Medical Center, the covered entity (CE), reported that it experienced a ransomware attack that compromised the protected health information (PHI) of 35,688 individuals. The PHI involved included names, addresses, Social Security and drivers’ license numbers, birthdates, financial information, and treatment information. In its mitigation efforts, the CE implemented additional administrative, technical, and security safeguards to better protect sensitive data.
