OCR description
The business associate (BA), Hospital Sisters Health System, reported that it experienced a cybersecurity incident that affected the protected health information (PHI) of 500 individuals. The PHI involved included names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, claims information, and other treatment information. The BA took several corrective actions in response to the breach including implementing additional administrative and technical safeguards. OCR provided technical assistance.
