OCR description
Bonney Forge Corporation, the covered entity CE (CE), reported that it experienced a ransomware attack that impacted the personal health information (PHI) of 672 individuals. The PHI involved included names, dates of birth, and Social Security numbers. The CE notified HHS and the affected individuals. In its mitigation efforts, the CE implemented new technical safeguards.
