OCR description
The covered entity (CE), Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects Health and Welfare Benefit Plan, reported that it experienced a ransomware incident that affected the protected health information (PHI) of 1,867 individuals. The PHI involved included names, Social Security numbers, and limited health insurance plan enrollment information. The CE notified HHS, affected individuals, and posted substitute notice on its website. In response to the breach, the CE offered free credit monitoring to affected individuals and implemented additional administrative and technical safeguards.
