OCR description
The covered entity, Millinocket Regional Hospital (CE), reported that it experienced a hacking attack that compromised the protected health information (PHI) of 813 individuals. The PHI involved included names, social security numbers, addresses, birthdates, diagnoses/conditions, lab results, and other treatment information. The CE notified HHS, affected individuals, and the media. In its mitigation efforts, the CE implemented additional administrative, technical, and security safeguards to better protect its PHI.
