OCR description
The covered entity (CE), Jacksonville Children's Multispecialty Clinics/Atlantic Medical Management, reported that an employee sent a mass email without using the blind copy function. The CE notified HHS. After filing the breach report, the CE conducted a more thorough review and found that the email did not include any protected health information and did not constitute a HIPAA breach or security violation.
