OCR description
The covered entity (CE), St. Anthony Regional Hospital, reported that it was the subject of a ransomware attack that affected the protected health information (PHI) of 139,214 individuals. The PHI involved included financial, clinical and demographic information. The CE notified HHS, the affected individuals, the media, and provided substitute notice. In its mitigation efforts, the CE implemented additional administrative, technical, and security safeguards to better protect its PHI.
