OCR description
MDLand International Corporation, the covered entity (CE), reported that it experienced a ransomware attack that compromised the protected health information (PHI) of 63,073 individuals. The PHI involved included names, dates of birth, and dates of service. In response to the breach, MDLand offered free credit monitoring to affected individuals and implemented additional administrative and technical safeguards to better protect its PHI.
