OCR description
The covered entity (CE), Aperion Care Marseilles, reported that its business associate (BA) experienced a cyberattack that compromised the protected health information (PHI) of 1,052 individuals. The PHI involved included names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, diagnoses, lab results, medications, health insurance information, and other treatment information. The CE notified HHS, affected individuals, and the media of the breach.
