OCR description
Teton Orthopaedics, the covered entity (CE), reported that on March 25, 2024, the CE learned of a ransomware incident that affected the protected health information (PHI) of 13,409 individuals. The PHI involved clinical, demographic, and financial information. The CE took corrective action, mailed notification to affected individuals, posted substitute notice to its website and notified the media. OCR provided technical assistance to the CE.
