OCR description
The covered entity (CE), Precision Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, reported that it experienced a cyberattack that compromised the protected health information (PHI) of 1,903 individuals. The PHI involved included names, dates of birth, diagnoses, and other treatment information. The CE notified HHS, the affected individuals, and the media. In response to the breach the CE undertook additional security program enhancements, including strengthening its administrative and technical safeguards.
