Sutera & Jones Surgical Podiatry A Division of Pace Foot and Ankle Center, the covered entity (CE), reported that someone broke into an employee’s car and stole a laptop, iPad and paperwork for 602 individuals. The protected health information involved included names, dates of birth, addresses, and health insurance and other treatment information. The CE notified HHS and the affected individuals. In its mitigation efforts, the CE offered free credit monitoring and implemented additional physical and administrative safeguards.
