OCR description
Highland Rivers Behavioral Health, the covered entity (CE) reported that its business associate was the subject of a cyber-attack that affected the protected health information (PHI) of 2,253 individuals. The PHI involved included names, addresses, claims and financial information, and other treatment information. The CE notified HHS, impacted individuals, and the media. In its mitigation efforts, the BA implemented additional administrative safeguards to better protect sensitive data.
