OCR description
The covered entity (CE), Schewitz Psychological Services dba Couples Learn, reported that its business associate (BA) experienced a cyberattack affecting the protected health information (PHI) of 3,700 individuals. The PHI involved included names, email addresses, phone numbers, and treatment information. The CE notified HHS, affected individuals, and the media. In its mitigation efforts, the CE and BA implemented additional technical safeguards.
