Updated under an hour ago ()

Does this affect you?

It affects Red Hat Satellite 6.16 for RHEL 8 and 3 other products. Add what you run to find out whether that includes you.

EPSS puts the chance of exploitation in the next 30 days at 0.72%, higher than 53% of scored CVEs.

A flaw was found in Foreman. This vulnerability allows an authenticated remote attacker with low-level read permissions to achieve arbitrary code execution on the underlying server. By manipulating the permitted methods list within the template rendering engine, an attacker can bypass the safemode sandbox isolation and execute unauthorized commands directly on the host system.

The CVE record is authoritative. Products marked “from the name” were identified from the CNA's free-text names, not a CPE, and are matched less certainly. This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.
