CVE-2026-93564Io.netty/netty-codec-haproxy: netty: haproxy proxy-v2 nested-tlv grandchild bytebuf reference-count leak (incomplete fix of pr #16881)

Updated under an hour ago ()

Does this affect you?

It affects Red Hat Build of Apache Camel 3.33.3.SP2 and 10 other products. Add what you run to find out whether that includes you.

No exploitation reported and no EPSS estimate yet.

A flaw was found in Netty. A reference-count leak in the HAProxy PROXY-v2 message decoder allows a remote, unauthenticated attacker to send specially crafted PROXY-protocol v2 headers. This can lead to memory exhaustion, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS) for the affected system.

The CVE record is authoritative. Products marked “from the name” were identified from the CNA's free-text names, not a CPE, and are matched less certainly. This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.
