CVE-2026-89060Stolostron/multicluster-observability-addon: cross-namespace secret disclosure in multicluster-observability-addon via unvalidated configuration references

Updated under an hour ago ()

Does this affect you?

It affects Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management for Kubernetes 2.13. Add what you run to find out whether that includes you.

No exploitation reported and no EPSS estimate yet.

A cross-namespace authorization flaw in multicluster-observability-addon allows a user with permission to modify a managed cluster’s ManagedClusterAddOn configuration to reference ClusterLogForwarder or OpenTelemetryCollector resources outside the permitted namespace. If those resources reference Secrets, the add-on may copy the referenced Secrets to the attacker-controlled managed cluster.

The CVE record is authoritative. Products marked “from the name” were identified from the CNA's free-text names, not a CPE, and are matched less certainly. This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.
