CVE-2026-73584Sblim-sfcb: sblim-sfcb: privileged file corruption and denial of service via insecure temporary file handling

Updated under an hour ago ()

Does this affect you?

It affects Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10. Add what you run to find out whether that includes you.

No exploitation reported and no EPSS estimate yet.

A flaw was found in sblim-sfcb. A local, low-privileged attacker can exploit a race condition during privileged instance migration by manipulating a temporary file in the `/tmp` directory. By repeatedly recreating a symbolic link, the attacker can redirect privileged output to an arbitrary file. This can lead to privileged file corruption or a denial of service (DoS) on the system.

The CVE record is authoritative. Products marked “from the name” were identified from the CNA's free-text names, not a CPE, and are matched less certainly. This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.
