CVE-2026-39832When adding a key to a remote agent constraint extensions such as restrict-destination-v00@openssh.com were not serialized in the request.

Does this affect you?

It affects golang crypto. Add what you run to find out whether that includes you.

No exploitation reported and no EPSS estimate yet.

When adding a key to a remote agent constraint extensions such as restrict-destination-v00@openssh.com were not serialized in the request. Destination restrictions were silently stripped when forwarding keys, allowing unrestricted use of the key on the remote host. The client now serializes all constraint extensions. Additionally, the in-memory keyring returned by NewKeyring() now rejects keys with unsupported constraint extensions instead of silently ignoring them.

The CVE record is authoritative. Products marked “from the name” were identified from the CNA's free-text names, not a CPE, and are matched less certainly. This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.
