CVE-2026-19503Insufficient OIDC endpoint validation could invoke unintended local protocol handlers

Updated under an hour ago ()

Does this affect you?

It affects MongoDB Atlas SQL ODBC Driver and 3 other products. Add what you run to find out whether that includes you.

No exploitation reported and no EPSS estimate yet.

MongoDB Schema Manager and MongoDB Atlas SQL ODBC Driver do not validate the scheme of the authorization and token endpoints returned by an OIDC issuer's discovery document. A user induced to connect to an uncontrolled MongoDB deployment using MONGODB-OIDC authentication may have an uncontrolled URI dispatched to their operating system's default protocol handler, potentially exposing credentials or, under certain conditions, resulting in code execution in the user's context.

The CVE record is authoritative. Products marked “from the name” were identified from the CNA's free-text names, not a CPE, and are matched less certainly. This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.
