CVE-2026-18571Keycloak-services: keycloak-services: fgap v2 group assignment bypass during user creation

Updated under an hour ago ()

Does this affect you?

It affects Red Hat build of Keycloak 26.6 and 4 other products. Add what you run to find out whether that includes you.

No exploitation reported and no EPSS estimate yet.

A flaw was found in the user creation component of Keycloak when Fine-Grained Admin Permissions V2 (FGAP V2) is enabled. This issue allows a sub-administrator with permission to create users to add those users to any group, even groups the sub-administrator is not authorized to manage. This could lead to unauthorized access to sensitive information or elevated privileges for the newly created users.

The CVE record is authoritative. Products marked “from the name” were identified from the CNA's free-text names, not a CPE, and are matched less certainly. This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.
