CVE-2026-105941Kroxylicious-kms-provider-azure-key-vault-kms: streams for apache kafka kroxylicious: azure key vault ssrf exfiltrates bearer token via untrusted edek vaultname

Updated under an hour ago ()

Does this affect you?

It affects Red Hat streams for Apache Kafka 3. Add what you run to find out whether that includes you.

No exploitation reported and no EPSS estimate yet.

The Azure Key Vault KMS provider in Kroxylicious accepts an untrusted vaultName from wire-deserialized EDEK bytes without format validation, enabling SSRF that exfiltrates the proxy's Azure bearer token to an attacker-controlled host. Token replay against the real Key Vault defeats the entire record-encryption trust model.

The CVE record is authoritative. Products marked “from the name” were identified from the CNA's free-text names, not a CPE, and are matched less certainly. This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.
