CVE-2026-100236Dpdk: dpdk: heap out-of-bounds read/write in gso header copy

Updated under an hour ago ()

Does this affect you?

It affects Red Hat Fast Datapath for RHEL 10 and 2 other products. Add what you run to find out whether that includes you.

EPSS puts the chance of exploitation in the next 30 days at 0.33%, higher than 24% of scored CVEs.

A flaw was found in the DPDK GSO library. When software GSO copies packet headers into a new mbuf, it does not check that the header fits in the source first segment or in the destination buffer, and a header longer than the configured GSO segment size can underflow the payload-size calculation. A remote or guest-supplied packet processed with software GSO can trigger an out-of-bounds read or write.

The CVE record is authoritative. Products marked “from the name” were identified from the CNA's free-text names, not a CPE, and are matched less certainly. This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.
