Updated under an hour ago ()

Does this affect you?

It affects ProjectSend. Add what you run to find out whether that includes you.

CISA lists it as known exploited since Dec 3, 2024; federal agencies had to remediate by Dec 24, 2024. Treat that date as your deadline.

ProjectSend versions prior to r1720 are affected by an improper authentication vulnerability. Remote, unauthenticated attackers can exploit this flaw by sending crafted HTTP requests to options.php, enabling unauthorized modification of the application's configuration. Successful exploitation allows attackers to create accounts, upload webshells, and embed malicious JavaScript.

The CVE record is authoritative. Products marked “from the name” were identified from the CNA's free-text names, not a CPE, and are matched less certainly. This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.
