CVE-2023-6121Kernel: nvme: info leak due to out-of-bounds read in nvmet_ctrl_find_get

Updated under an hour ago ()

Does this affect you?

It affects Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 and 7 other products. Add what you run to find out whether that includes you.

No exploitation reported and no EPSS estimate yet.

An out-of-bounds read vulnerability was found in the NVMe-oF/TCP subsystem in the Linux kernel. This issue may allow a remote attacker to send a crafted TCP packet, triggering a heap-based buffer overflow that results in kmalloc data being printed and potentially leaked to the kernel ring buffer (dmesg).

The CVE record is authoritative. Products marked “from the name” were identified from the CNA's free-text names, not a CPE, and are matched less certainly. This product uses the NVD API but is not endorsed or certified by the NVD.
